The following information is collected by or for Simplego: Information You Provide This May Include: User profile: We collect information when you create or update your Simplego account, including your name, email address, phone number, login name and password, address, payment or banking information, government identification numbers, date of birth, photo, and signature. This also includes driver vehicle or insurance information.
Background check information: We may collect background check information if you sign up to use Simplego's services as a driver or delivery partner. This may include information such as your driving history or criminal record (where allowed by law), collected by a vendor on Simplego's behalf.
User content: We may collect information that you submit when you contact Simplego customer support, provide ratings or compliments to other users, or otherwise contact Simplego.
Information Created When You Use Our Services This may include: Location Information: Depending on the Simplego services you use and your application settings or device permissions, we may collect your precise or approximate location information through data such as GPS, IP address, and Wi-Fi. If you are a driver, Simplego collects location information when the Simplego application is running in the foreground or background of your device.
Transaction Information: We collect transaction information related to your use of our services, including the type of services you requested or provided, order details, delivery information, date and time of service, amount charged, distance traveled, and payment policy. If someone uses your promotion code, we may link your name with that person.
Usage Information: We collect information about how you interact with our services, including access dates and times, application features or pages viewed, application crashes, and other system activity. We may collect this information through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies.
Communications Data: We enable users to communicate with each other and Simplego via the Simplego applications, websites, and other services. This includes calls between drivers and riders. Privacy Settings The Privacy Settings menu in the Simplego Rider application allows users to set or update their location and contacts sharing preferences, as well as their preferences for receiving mobile notifications from Simplego. Information on these settings, how to set or change these settings, and the impact of turning off these settings are described below. Location Information Simplego uses riders' device location services to make it easier to get a safe, reliable ride whenever you need one. Location data enhances our services, including pickups, navigation, and customer support. You can enable/disable or change Simplego's collection of rider location information anytime through the Privacy Settings menu in the Simplego application or via the settings on your mobile device. If you disable the device location services on your device, your use of the Simplego application will be affected. For example, you will need to enter your pickup or drop-off locations manually. Additionally, location information will be collected from the driver during your trip and linked to your account, even if you have not allowed Simplego to collect your location information. Notifications: Account & Trip Updates Simplego provides users with order status notifications and updates related to your account. These notifications are a necessary part of using the Simplego application and cannot be disabled. However, you can choose the method by which you receive these notifications through the Privacy Settings menu in the Simplego application. Notifications: Discounts & News You can enable Simplego to send you push notifications about discounts and news from Simplego. You can enable/disable these notifications anytime through the Privacy Settings menu in the Simplego application. Device Permissions Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined specific types of device data that apps cannot access without your consent. These platforms have different permission systems for obtaining your consent. The iOS platform will alert you the first time the Simplego app needs permission to access specific types of data and will let you consent (or not consent) to that request. Android devices will notify you of the permissions that the Simplego app seeks before you first use the app, and your use of the app constitutes your consent. Updates To This Policy We may occasionally update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you of the changes through the Simplego applications or through other means, such as email. To the extent permitted under applicable law, by using our services after such notice, you consent to our updates to this policy.
